Operating Steps

1.      insert a Mini TF card

2.      Put the power switch to ON, so that the DV90 is in the boot-up state, when the blue indicator light is long on.

Note

1)      If the battery has low electric quantity, the blue indicator light will slowly flash, and the DV90 will automatically shut down after 2 minutes.

2)      If you don not insert a Mini TF card, the indicator light will flash green.

3)      If without any operation within two minutes, the DV90 will enter standby mode.

3.      video recording

Note

1)      In the standby mode, need to press the “video button” to enter the boot-up state, when the indicator light shows blue, and then press “video button” to enter the video recording mode, when the indicator light flashes green slowly.

2)      When the card records are in full, the DV90 can no longer record video, and the indicator light shows green long at this time and will automatically stop after 30 seconds; when the green indicator light shows long, it is invalid to press the video button.

A)      in the boot-up state, if the wound outside is up more than 65dB, the

      DV90 will automatically enter the video mode to record video;

B)       if it lasts over two minutes when the sound outside is less than 65dB

  Continuously, the DV90 will automatically enter standby move;

C)      in the standby mode, if the sound outside reaches 65dB above once

 Again, the DV90 will re-enter the video mode to record video

4.      After the video recording, the DV90 will automatically store the data.

Notes

1)      In the process of video recording, if video recording does not stop first, butt the power supply is directly forced to be switched off, the video recording data will not be saved.

2)      In the case of long-time video recording, the contents of video recording every 30 minutes will automatically generate a file.

5.      Charge

The DV90 is connected with a computer or the power adapter, car charger in use together with the DV90 can be recharged, and the red light is long on at this time; after it is full, the red light goes out.

Note: when charging, place the power switch to the OFF position.

Note: when using the power adapter for charging, the DV90 can support video and standby and other functions at the same time, the red light keeps long on at this time, and in the other sates, the indicator light is also indicative in the normal way.

File storage and playback

After the completion of video recording, use the USB data line to copy or cut the recorded file to the computer for playback, and the Mini TF card can be removed. Media player, storm shadow audio player and other player soft-wares are recommend when using a card reader to read the video data in the card.

Notes

When the DV90 is connected to the computer, it is necessary to note the following situations;

1)      when the voice-activated switch is OFF and the power switch is ON, the recorded file can be directly copied or cut to the computer, in the process of reading and writing, the indicator light displays blue fast flashing. (Before connecting the computer, first place the voice-activated switch and power switch to the OFF position, and then after the USB data cable is connected to the computer, place the power switch to the ON position)

2)      when the voice-activated switch is ON and the power switch is ON, the DV90 achieves PC camera feature, and can be used as a network camera.

3)      When the power switch is OFF, the DV90 can be charged, when the indicator light shows red.

4)      Before unplugging the USB data cable, turn off the DV90 power at first.

PC camera function

The DV90 can also be used as a PC camera, install the driver software on thd accompanied CD-ROM before using, then use the USB data cable to connect the computer, place the voice-activated switch to the ON position, and then place the power switch to the ON position, and the DV90 will show a standard video device on the computer, when it can be used as a PC camera.

Using some third-party applications, you can also watch real-time video of PC camera and can store real=time video on the local computer, such as Am cap.

Note

If the DV90 is connected with a computer, when the power switch is in the ON state and the voice-activated switch is in OFF state, it can not be used as a PC camera, but can only read and write data stored in the DV90
